Moving to a new residence can be a stressful experience for most people. We stress out because we worry. I don't want you to worry. Stress is not healthy - so here are some things you can do to minimize the tension and worry when you sell your home:
** Choose a Realtor who keeps you up to speed on things.
** Price your home accurately for market conditions. RIGHT FROM THE START! No need to 'try it at this price' - or 'try it at that price to start'..... Go with the RIGHT PRICE from the start :)
** Will you move yourself, or hire a moving company? Decide now, and you won't have to worry about it later.
** Have someone come in and clean AFTER everything is all packed and moved.
** Arrange at least 2 weeks in advance to have utility service disconnected at your old address - - and established at your new home on the move-in date :)

arranging the utilities in advance is a great tip, Gene .....it is the most commonly forgotten item on the 'to do' list when someone moves! (myself included, lol)
Good advise --- we tell them over and over again...
I have a check list for buyer, seller and agents -- how many do you think really keep that in front of them through the process??? ha.
Fantastic advice!
